Carondelet Music Center Students and Faculty Offer the Gift of Love through Music

Students and faculty gathered for the first annual Valentine Recital at Carondelet Music Center on Sunday, February 13, 2011. Violin, cello and piano student performances included such love-oriented selections as My Heart Will Go On from Titanic, You’ll Be in My Heart from Tarzan, I Love the Mountains, Over the Rainbow, Romanze from the second movement of Beethoven’s Sonatina in G minor, No. 1 and Für Elise , Bach’s Minuet No. 2 and Schumann’s The Two Grenadiers, to name a few. Faculty performances included A Special Place in My Heart (Rollin), performed by Mrs. Mary Ann Bach; Romance (Levin), performed by Mrs. Mary Alice Senecal; and Traumerei (Schumann), performed by Sister Patricia St. John.
