The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet are a congregation of women religious dedicated to the practice of all the spiritual and corporal works of mercy of which woman is capable and which will most benefit the ... dear neighbor (Primitive Constitutions).

 Mission

The mission of the Office of Development is to advance the mission and the ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

 Development efforts attempt:

  • To create for those outside the congregation an understanding of who we are as contemporary women religious in the church,  with our particular values
  • To secure the necessary support, personnel and funds in order to advance our ministry of unity and reconciliation
  • To invite others to help fulfill God's creative plan for the world

The Sisters of St. Joseph have committed their lives to the mission of Jesus. That commitment implies good stewardship of all the resources necessary to carry out that mission in the present, and to transmit it to future generations. The Sisters of St. Joseph cannot carry out the spiritual and corporal works of mercy without the contributions of resources and services of others.
