CSJ Associate Commitment Weekend 2018

On Friday-Sunday, June 7-10, 2018, our CSJ Associates culminated their annual retreat weekend with the Commitment Liturgy. The CSJ Associates are women and men who embrace our charism of unity and reconciliation and participate in the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

During Sunday’s Eucharistic Liturgy, we welcomed seven new Associates: Barbara Brady, Barbara Dibble, Judith Panara, Carol Ann Riolo, Faith Stark, Vicki Therriault and Mary Wahl, bringing our CSJ Associate Program to 124 members. In addition, we celebrated the recommitment of the present Associates.

During Saturday’s activities, the Associates remembered their 46 deceased members.

The weekend, which focused on the theme, “Walk with Wisdom,” featured presentations by Associates on: “Ways to Walk in Wisdom (Linda Olson); “Centering Prayer and Practice” (Eileen Davenport); “The Wisdom of Mary: Patron Saint of Paradox” (Kathy Poupart); and “Wisdom in Contemporary Music” (Mary Guditis).
